The 5020 is the more powerful, heavy-duty version of the 5020-alternator family, producing 90 amp’s when under hot engine bay conditions. the unit has a much higher tolerance to heat and heavy vibration, along with a larger nose bearing to help prevent failures due to high belt tension with supercharged engine configurations. the 5020HD is a direct fit to many rover K series engines but will also fit many other applications, please see the technical sheet for test results and fitting sizes.
